Mikel’s Trabzonspor get Getafe, Krasnodar as Europa opponents

 

Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor which parades Nigeria internationals, Mikel Obi and Anthony Nwakaeme have been drawn in Group C of the Europa League against Swiss club, Basel, Krasnodar of Russia and LaLiga outfit, Getafe.

The Black Sea Storm progressed to the group stage despite losing to Greek side, AEK Athens in the playoffs.

Trabzonspor lost 2-0 on Thursday night but qualified on 3-3 on away goal rule having won the first leg 3-1.

While Mikel was on till the 35th minute before he was replaced by Alexander Soerloth Nwakaeme featured for the entire duration.
