MLS Goal of The Year: Orji Okwonkwo battles Rooney, Zlatan
Nigeria international, Orji Okwonkwo has been shortlisted for the Major League Soccer (MLS) Goal of the Year 2019 along with Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Montreal Impact striker is contending with Carlos Vela’s goal for Los Angeles FC against San Jose, Nani’s goal for Orlando City FC against New England Revolution, Ibrahimovic’s goal for LA Galaxy against Los Angeles FC and Rooney’s for DC United against Orlando City
This week the U-23 player who is on loan at Impact scooped the player of the year.
