Moses scores As Chelsea defeat Inter 5-4 on Penalties

Nigeria international Victor Moses scored from the penalty spot as Chelsea secured victory against Inter Milan in Saturday’s International Champions Cup fixture in Nice, Paris.

The match ended 5-4 in penalties after full time ended 1-1.

Moses who was making his first appearance for the Blues and under new coach Maurizzo Sarri was introduced in the 65th minute as replacement for Pedro Rodriguez who opened scorng in the eighth minute following an Alvaro Morata rebound.  But five minutes into the second half Roberto Gagliardini drew level for Inter.

In the shoot-out, Andrea Ranocchia, Gagliardini, Lautaro Martínez, Yann Karamoh all scored while
saved by Wilfredo Caballero saved Skriniar’s spot kick.

Jorginho, Danny Drinkwater, Moses, Tammy Abraham and Cesar Azpilicueta all scored from the spot for Chelsea.

Chelsea will now face Arsenal in Dublin in their next game on Wednesday.
