Moses swallows ‘bitter pill’ of defeat with Spartak Moscow

Victor Moses’ Spartak Moscow began their 2021-2022 Russian Premier League campaign on a negative note on Saturday.

Moses was on parade as Spartak Moscow suffered a 1-0 defeat against Rubin Kazan at the AK Bars Arena.

The former Nigerian international started the match but failed to replicate the pre-season form that saw him scored three goals for Spartak.

He lasted for 60minutes before he was replaced with Zelimkha Bakaev by coach Rui Victoria.

Ilya Samoshini love scored the winner for Rubin Kazan in the 49th minute of the encounter.
