Mourinho snubs Man Utd stars in best XI he managed
Jose Mourinho has snubbed Manchester United stars in a best XI of players he has coached during his glittering managerial career.
The Tottenham Hotspur boss has revealed his all-time best XI of players he has managed and failed to name any players from his days at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese gaffer notably won the League Cup and Europa League during his spell at United and worked alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and David De Gea, among others. But they didn’t earn a spot in his best side.
Cristiano Ronaldo, however, is the only star to have played for United in Mourinho’s ultimate side having worked with him during his time at Real Madrid.
Mourinho’s team boasts eight players from his two spells at Chelsea with four players making up the back line, including goalkeeper Petr Cech, John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho and Ashley Cole. Inter Milan right-back Javier Zanetti completes the defence.
