Mourinho’s comments on Hazard will worry Chelsea fans

Jose Mourinho’s remark on Eden Hazard move from Chelsea maybe pinch on the neck of Chelsea fans who hoe the Belgian so dearly.

Already, Chelsea are bracing themselves for the potential departure of Hazard this summer but there have been mixed reports over the desire of Real Madrid to match the Blues’ demands.

Reports have it that Chelsea want around £130m for the Belgian international but it’s said that Real value him closer to £88m. This represents a big gap between the clubs but recent comments from a previous manager of both sides,

Real have endured one of their most difficult campaigns in a long time on the back of three consecutive Champions League wins.

Santiago Solari took over after Zinedine Zidane’s exit last summer only for the former to oversee a poor season in La Liga and a shock loss to Ajax in the Champions League.

Zidane has since returned and set his sights on an array of signings and Hazard is near the top of that list. Whilst some reports suggest Real are not prepared to go all out in their pursuit of Hazard, Mourinho certainly thinks they will do exactly that.

“They’ve changed their coach so they’re going to spend a lot. There are always cycles with Real Madrid, as there are in all big teams,” Mourinho told Movistar+ per SB Nation. “They started one of those cycles years ago and it ended with the last  Champions League , but they’ll continue with the fantastic players they already have.”
