Musa joins Al-Nassr for the money
Saudi Arabian Club, Al-Nassr, have officially welcomed Nigerian striker, Ahmed Musa to the team.
Musa signed a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee, but it is believed the offer is what he could not turn down.
On the Twitter handle of the club, @alnassrsaudifce, they wrote; “#ALNASSR signed a four-year contract
with Nigerian left winger and former @LCFC player Ahmed Musa @Ahmedmusa718, welcome to the Global Club
Ahmed!”
Musa until his move played for Leicester City and was the club’s record signing for £16.6million in
2016, but failed to hold down a place and was loaned back to his old club CSKA Moscow for part of last
season.
Musa attracted strong interest from several European clubs, but Al-Nassr won the race for the pacey
forward’s signature.
The Saudi club finished third on the log table last season and begin their 2018-19 league campaign with a trip to Ohod on August 30.
Musa was one of the top stars for Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup grabbing a brace in the Super
Eagles 2-0 win against Iceland.
