Musa nets brace as CSKA Moscow demolish Arsenal

Nigeria international Ahmed Musa scored twice in CSKA Moscow’s 6-0 demolition of Arsenal Tula in Sunday’s Russia Premier League game at the VEB Arena.

It was Musa’s sixth goal for the Red Army in 15 appearances since joining the Moscow outfit from Leicester on loan in January.

Fedor Chalov got the curtain raiser two minutes into the tie and Musa doubled the lead in the 11th minute from a Vitinho assist.

Chalov scored twice in the 21st and 43rd minutes to complete a hattrick with Aleksandr Golovin’s scoring in the 40th minute as the hosts went into the break 5-0 up.

The Leicester City loanee then completed his brace in the 49th minute to firmly secure victory.

CSKA remain third on the log with 55 points from 29 games. Musa will be looking to continue his fine form when they play host to Anzhi on May 13.
