Phoenix Rising and former Ivory Coast striker has described Ahmed Musa’s first goal for Nigeria against Iceland in a Group D FIFA World Cup fixture as one of the beautiful goals in Russia.
The former Chelsea striker who spoke on Friday on BBC maintained the Nigerian Leicester City forward put in an extra effort to score such a magnificient goal.
He said,”Ahmed Musa’s first is a beautiful goal – the difficulty makes it more beautiful. Wow,” he said.
Nigeria started the second half after a goalless first 45 minutes with verve and urgency. And it led to Ahmed Musa’s sublime opener in the 49 minutes as Moses scampered down the right whose pullout located Musa who nicely controlled the ball before firing in the opener.
