But the former Inter and Roma coach Spalletti seems to be in pole position for the role at Castel Volturno.
The 62-year-old has been without a job since he left Inter in May 2019, but has experience with teams like Udinese, Roma and Zenit St Petersburg.
Spalletti won two Coppa Italia during his time with Roma and picked up two League titles and one Russian Cup with Zenit.
