Nations Cup clash: Ayew blasts Gabon for poor sportsmanship

Ghana Captain Andre Ayew has expressed disappointment over the lack of sportsmanship showed by Gabon during their second match of the ongoing Nations Cup in Cameroon.

Ayew who was speaking during a post-match press conference gave insight into what actually transpired and eventually forced the Black Stars to settle for a draw in a match they were close to winning.

“We had the ball out , because our man was on the floor, we expected them to give us back the ball but they went on to score. I am very disappointed in Gabon. “he said

Friday’s draw has left Ghana with just a point going into the last match against debutants Comoros.

Though pundits believe the Black Stars have the pedigree and experience to beat Comoros they however believe the victory must be re-sounding to earn Ghana chance of progressing.
