Nations Cup Qualifiers: Rohr studies Libya’s tapes

Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has told SportingLife.ng that he and his assistant coaches have been studying the match video tapes of Libya in preparations for the crucial double header 2019 Africa Nations Cup qualifier between the Eagles and Libya.

Nigeria will play host to Libya in Kaduna at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Saturday, October 16, 2018 while Libya hosts the Super Eagles in Tunisia in the return leg on October 13, 2018.

The Eagles’ gaffer has disclosed that he was targeting at least four points from the double header, a victory in Nigeria in the first leg and at least a draw in the returned leg to zoom to the top of the group. He also confessed that ye has been working round the clock to achieve this target.

“We are analyzing Libya’s match in South Africa and the World Cup qualifier they (Libya) played in Tunisia that ended in 0-0. These matches will help us to know how to approach the matches”, Rohr disclosed.

The Franco-German football tactician has also hailed the re-election of the President of the Nigeria
Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick which he believes would promote stability in Nigerian football.
