Ndidi, Iheanacho ginger Leicester to 2-0 victory over Watford

Super Eagles midfielder Wilifred Ndidi was impressive in the Leicester City’s 2-0 defeat of Watford Saturday at the King Power Stadium.

Ndidi who is a CAF Youth player of the year nominee, was in action for the entire 90 minutes doing a good job in the middle as teammates Jamie Vardy and James Maddison found the net in the 12th and 23rd minutes respectively.

Compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was however in action for 18 minutes after coming in as late substitute for J vardy in the 72nd minute.  In the opposite side Isaac Success enjoyed full 90 minutes action but the visitors failed in their bid to either reduce the tally not prevent a defeat.

The match was however not without incident and Etienne Capoue was sent off in stoppage time for a two-footed lunge in the middle of the field on Kelechi Iheanacho.

Away from England and straight to the Spanish La liga, Leganes defender keneth Omeruo saw full 90 minutes action inspiring his side to a 4-2 defeat of Real Valladolid at the Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla (Valladolid).  Despite the victory however Leganes remains in the 17th position on the log just a step above the relegation zone with 13 points in 13 matches.
