Ndidi, Iheanacho resume training with Leicester On Friday

Super Eagles players Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will join their Leicester teammates in training on Friday after the international break.

This was disclosed by manager Claude Puel on the team’s website.

Iheanacho and Ndidi were part of the Nigeria squad that tackled Libya in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with the Eagles winning both legs.

Both should be in line for a starting place for this weekend’s EPL fixture against Arsenal who parades another Nigeria international Alex Iwobi.

”Some will come back Friday; Ghezzal, Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho are the last players. All of the players are match fit for Arsenal.”

Ndidi who will miss Nigeria’s next game against South Africa on November after a second yellow card featured in the home and away matches unlike Iheanacho who watched from the bench.

”We didn’t have any injury problems with the internationals. Almost all of the international players have come back for training.

The team resumed training on Thursday.
