Ndidi, Iheanacho seek  FA victory extension in Caraboa cup

After savoring a 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup, Super Eagles duo Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will be hoping to consolidate in another front as Leicester city host Aston Villa in the first leg semis of the Caraboa cup.

Although Iheanacho who recently bounced back to reckoning did not play in Saturday’s tie against Wigan, the former Manchester City ace stands a chance of getting action against Villa.

Ever regular midfielder Ndidi was in action for 77 minutes against Wigan with Leicester’s goals coming in the 19th minute via Tom Pearce own goal and the 40th minute thanks to Harvey Barnes.

While Leicester will be going into Wednesday’s match fresh from their victory against Wigan, same cannot  be said of Aston Villa who are heading into the match after losing 2-1 to Fulham in the FA Cup.
