Ndidi proves full fitness plays for full 90 minutes

 

Super Eagles and Leicester City defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi left no one in doubt that he has returned to 100% fitness on Saturday.

The Nigeria international who has been forced to miss a couple of matches due to injury was in full action for 90 minutes contributing as usual in no small measure as the foxes came from behind to flog Liverpool 3-1.

Compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho who has been in action for the foxes in the FA Cup was however an unused substitute in Saturday’s encounter at the King Power Stadium.

Visiting Liverpool had fired the first salvo in the 67th minute through Mohammed Salah, but the celebration that followed did not last as Leicester began to show that they are indeed at home and know the way to go.

The homers practically went on goal harvest scoring three goals in less than ten minutes with Maddison, Vardy and Banes on target in the 78th, 81st and 85th minutes in that order.

Coach Rodgers hailed Ndidi noting that he was fantastic in the course of the match.
