Neville set to step down as England women’s coach

Former Manchester United and Everton star, Phil Neville is stepping down as England Women head coach.

Neville is set to make an announcement on his future on April 23rd, when the European Championship dates are presented.

He will remain in charge until the end of his contract, which is until summer 2021.

But he will not be at the Euros, as that tournament is likely to happen in 2022, according to Sky Sports.

The outlet suggests the FA will want to ensure someone is in place when Neville leaves, so the transition is smooth into Euro 2022 and the World Cup in 2023.
