Dare said this in an interview with newsmen during his visit to the camp of a private sports initiative “Making of Champions” at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, on Monday in Lagos.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Super Eagles got to a well-deserved 1-1 draw against the star-studded Brazil team at the Singapore National Stadium.

The Super Eagles drew the first blood in the 34th minute through the in-form Glasgow Rangers Midfielder, Joe Aribo, who found the net in spite of being sandwiched by the Brazilian defenders.

Brazil’s 27-year-old Real Madrid export, Carlos Casemiro, however, saved the day for his team when he cancelled Aribo’s stunner in the 46th minute of the second half.

Dare said that the team had a bright future, as the average age of the players was an advantage that could not be overlooked.

“I did tweet few seconds after the game, and from what I saw, we have a bunch of talented players. The average age of the players is between 20 to 23; that is pretty young.

“What we have in our hands is a great opportunity to grow a new breed of Nigerian players playing across the big professional clubs in the world.

“What we need to do is to keep them together in training. What we saw in the display was excellent talents, and of course, we have seen the areas in which we need improvement.

“The coach must have seen the areas of improvement as well. These young boys are the dream team, and when we face Benin Republic, no doubt, we will ride to victory,’’ he said. (NAN)
