NFF may consider Morocco to camp Eagles ahead AFCON

Although it maybe too early in the day to determine where Nigeria’s Super Eagles may camp ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, there are indications that Morocco may considered.

This has to do with the fact that both countries have established a strategic relationship in football matters which has seen some of the country’s national teams camp in the North Africa Country.

Similarly the decision of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) to award the the hosting rights to Egypt would also play a determining factor for the NFF chieftains.

The home-based Eagles camped in Rabat ahead of the 2018 Africa Nations Championship and the under-15 team and Morocco’s side played two friendly matches at the same city last August.

Morocoo also played host to the Super Eagles prior to their World Cup qualifier against Algeria and the international friendly against Argentina in Russia.

Egypt are the most successful team in this championship having won it a record seven times, beat South Africa to stage the expanded tournament of 24 teams.
