Nicky Butt praised for saving Man Utd millions in transfer fees

Nicky Butt saved Manchester United “hundreds of millions” in the transfer market.

That is according to Peterborough United’s director of football, Barry Fry.

Butt recently left United after nine years in the academy system, with reports linking him to Celtic.

The 46-year-old oversaw the transition of players from the academy to the first-team, including Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay and Mason Greenwood.
