Onuwa is yet to find the back of the net this season but he is hoping to change that today in Minna.
‘I’ve been working very hard in my goalscoring ability and I’m confident it will come. Infact, I’m looking forward to scoring against Tornadoes and even if it doesn’t come – I’ll never relent. I will keep pushing for it,’ he said.

The diminutive midfielder regarded as one of the best in the domestic scene believes that MFM FC’s experience at Rangers where they picked a point against the Flying Antelope on Thursday will drive them into getting a good result in their second consecutive away match in three days.
‘We are ready for the game against Niger Tornadoes,’ Onuwa told SportingLife. ‘The draw we picked away from home in Enugu has put us in a good frame of mind. Now, we believe that we can do it here in Minna.
‘All we need is to concentrate on the pitch and not get carried away after the good result against Rangers.’
MFM FC who recently crashed out of the CAF Confederations Cup currently occupies the 10th position in the NPFL log with 24points while Niger Tornadoes are placed third with 27points.
