Finidi George has said Super Eagles stars have to be fully committed when they play for the country because it is much more important than when they feature for their various foreign clubs.

“I will tell the players that playing for Nigeria is bigger than playing for your various clubs,” the new Super Eagles coach said during his media tour.
He said this against the backdrop that the Super Eagles are under pressure to get their 2026 World Cup campaign back on track after a tentative start.
