Nigeria vs Sudan: Eagles should just maintain the tempo-Okocha
Super Eagles have been told to simply maintain the tempo as they file out in a manner of minutes against Sudan in Cameroon.
Former international and one of the analysts at the ongoing Nations Cup Jay Jay Okocha made the call ahead of the match noting that the Eagles started on an impressive note. “We started on an impressive note and I expect that we will continue in that line” he enthused Saturday.
Eagles who successfully caged Egypt in their first match are seeking consolidation and a ticket to the next round with a game to spare. Going into this match Eagles lead the group with three points with Sudan and Guinea Bissau with a point each but Egypt with no point yet.
Nigeria have three Nations cup titles in the kitty and are seeking the fourth win in Cameroon. Interestingly the Austin Eguavoen tutored side have been tipped as favorites to clinch the title alongside defending champions Algeria, hosts Cameroon , Egypt and Senegal.
