Nigeria will play Sierra Leone under pressure, Shorunmu declares

Former Super Eagles goalie, Ike Shorunmu, has stated that the Super Eagles will be under pressure ahead of the doubleheader AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone.

Shorunmu informed brila.net that football has changed particularly when countries from Africa want to play against Nigeria – they will double their muscles and we will be under pressure because they will want to do all they can to nail the boys down.“There is no work over again in football most particularly countries that want to play with Nigeria”

“They will double up their efforts and give us shots and more also, we are the ones under pressure,” he said.

Super Eagles will be playing their third nation’s cup qualifiers after they saw through the Benin Republic and Lesotho with a win which made them top the group with six points after two matches.

The first leg will be played on the 13th of this month with the second encounter to be on the 17th same month of November 2020.
