Nigerian Handball coach, Yemi George dies in South Africa

Nigerian Handball coach, Yemi George has died in South Africa SportingLife.ng can reveal.  George who was studying for his PHD in a South African university was found dead in his flat in Guateng in the early hours of Friday, March 30.
Former President of the Nigeria Handball Federation (NFN) Lanre Glover told SportingLife.ng via a telephone interview last night that the sad news was broken to him by  Ruth Sanders, the president of South Africa Handball Federation.
Glover described the late coach as a very energetic and intelligent man
who gave his all to the sport.
“Even when he was pursuing his PHD in South Africa, he still had the energy to get involved in several grassroot programmes and that’s why his demise has elicited emotional tributes from the handball fraternity in South Africa”
