Nistelrooy praises Ndidi ahead Arsenal clash

Leicester City manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has lauded Wilfred Ndidi’s leadership and performance in the FA Cup match against Manchester United.

Van Nistelrooy highlighted Ndidi’s ability to elevate the team’s play on and off the ball, emphasising his leadership qualities.

In his pre-match press conference, Nistelrooy emphasized the crucial role Wilfred Ndidi plays in the team.

He said: “It starts with the character of the person, which is excellent.

“Then there’s the leadership, his arrival in the box, which you saw at United.

“He has enormous reach on and off the pitch. The complete package of him has lifted the team.”

Ruud van Nistelrooy further confirmed that Leicester City will welcome back three injured players, Victor Kristiansen, Jannik Vestergaard, and Jamie Vardy, who missed last week’s match against Manchester United due to injury, are all expected to return for the Arsenal game.

While Wilfred Ndidi was sidelined with a hamstring injury, Leicester suffered eight losses in their nine Premier League matches, more defeats than they experienced in the fifteen games he played.
