NNL to hold monthly award ceremony In Abuja

The Nigeria National League (NNL) is set to host its monthly awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 15th, in Abuja.

According to the NNL’s Chief Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana, the event will kick off at 2pm at the West-Point Hotel in Zone 7, Wuse.

 The ceremony will recognise outstanding performances across various categories, including Best Behaved Team of the Month, Best Coach, Best Goalkeeper, Highest Goal Scorer, Best Goal, Best Referee, and Most Valuable Player.

Crown FC’s Oladeji Joshua has been named Best Goalkeeper after recording three clean sheets, while Abdullahi Umar of Kebbi United FC clinched the Most Valuable Player award, having scored four goals — including the season’s first hat-trick against Kada Warriors. Umar also takes home the award for Highest Goal Scorer.

Solution FC’s Coach Emmanuel Duetsch has been recognized as Best Coach, while Gateway United earned the Best Behaved Team award for maintaining a spotless disciplinary record during the review period.

Gateway United’s Babatunde Taofeek secured the Goal of the Month accolade, and Ogunfolaju Joshua from Osun State was honored as Referee of the Month.
