Nwakali ends three-year Arsenal stay, joins Huesca
Former Nigeria international Kelechi Nwakali has joined Spanish Segunda Division side, SD Huesca in a permanent deal from Arsenal.
Nwakali who signed a three-year contract with the Spanish club joined the Gunners after captaining his country at the 2015 Under-17 World Cup, where he won the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player in 2016.
He was however shipped on loan to VVV Venlo in the Eredivisie for the first half of the 2017/18 season on loan at, before joining MW Maastricht.
During these two loan spells, he made 30 appearances. Last season, he spent time on loan with Porto in the Portuguese Premiera Liga.

The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes according to the club.
