Former Super Eagles and West Bromwich Albion striker, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, has described the relegation of former club West Brom from the Premier League to the English championship as a sad one.

Osaze, who played for the Baggies between 2010-2013, scoring 30 goals in 87 appearances, took to social media to also hail caretaker manager Darren Moore for trying his best.

“Out of nothing he made something. Sad to see @WBA relegate but it could have been some weeks ago. Darren Moore deserved the praise and the award this month. Hopefully, just the beginning of good things for him,” Osaze twitted.

44-year-old Moore beat off competition from Man City boss, Pep Guardiola to win the Manager of the Month for April, after leading the club to two wins and two draws, including wins against Manchester United and Arsenal.
