Ogu goes spiritual ahead of new season with Israeli Club

Ogu, 30, who has been on vacation since returning from his first FIFA World Cup outing with the Nigeria
national team is already looking forward to another glorious season with the defending champions.

Looking relaxed and focused ahead of the new season, Ogu on Wednesday said he was ready for the nine-
month marathon new football season with Beer sheva.

In a message he shared online while in the plane on his way to Israel, the midfielder sought the face of God for a successful season.

”Dear God, as I leave for the 2018/2019 season.I ask that your favour and blessings never depart from
me. Thank you for all you have done for me. I Love you Lord,'” he tweeted.

Ogu has won the league with Hapoel Beer sheva  three consecutive seasons and a domestic double in the 2016-17 season.
