Enyimba Captain Austin Oladapo has narrated how Plateau United fans attacked and assaulted his side after their NPFL match-up on Sunday.
Some players of Enyimba International were assaulted and injured by supposed fans of Plateau United, after both teams played a barren draw in the NPFL Matchday 29 fixtures at Jos Township.
Speaking on the possible cause of the violence, Oladapo who featured in the game, told brila.net that the fans were frustrated by the results and had to heat on match officials and Enyimba players.

“After the game they become hostile towards the match officials but could not get to them because of the help of security.”
“Then they later turned to us and which started throwing stone and some objects, we managed to go to leave the pitch for the dressing room and they started stoning at us again”
“I think they were frustrated because of the result, they expected their team to win, unfortunately, it didn’t happen for them.” he told brila.net.
