Old Trafford pitch invader shares pix with Ronaldo on Social Media

One of the Old Trafford pitch invaders has shared the selfie he got with Cristiano Ronaldo while being wrestled by security on the pitch… and it turns out he is a beyond extreme fan of the Juventus star.

As Ronaldo made his way off the Old Trafford pitch on Tuesday night a third pitch invader got close to the striker before security wrestled him to the ground. Ronaldo asked the guards to hold off while he posed for a photograph before the fan was taken away.

Now, ‘dilmancr.7’ has thanked Ronaldo on Instagram, where his profile suggests he would consider the trouble he found himself in to be more than worth it.

‘hi guys I just want to say thank you for your kind (sic) Cristiano you are not only player you are legend you are a great person I’m very excited to take selfie next to you my dreams come true’ he wrote.

On his Instagram story, he also wrote alongside a picture of security hauling him to the ground: ‘Everybody see it, Ronaldo trying to save me under security.’

A look further through dilmancr.7’s profile shows how much he idolises the Portugal man and how excited he was to be at Old Trafford for one of the stand-out fixtures of the Champions League group stages.

He clearly bases his appearance on him and in numerous posts can be seen working out to build up his thigh muscles – one of Ronaldo’s most striking physical attributes.

There are also pictures of him mimicking Ronaldo’s shorts rolled high up his thighs and in any post where he is wearing a football shirt, it has ‘Ronaldo 7’ on the back.

He also has a video of him taking a free-kick where his routine is exactly the same as Ronaldo’s.

He also frequently posts pictures of Ronaldo enjoying downtime off of the pitch with his family.

Away from being the target of pitch invaders, Ronaldo enjoyed a winning return to Old Trafford on Tuesday.

Paulo Dybala’s first-half strike gave Juventus an impressive 1-0 victory over United.
