It is believed that several of the black players that represented France have roots in Africa.
Le Blues defeated Croatia 4-2 at the Luzhniki Stadium Moscow to win the title for the second time after 20 years.
“Finally, Africa wins it’s 1st world Cup but in french colours lol. Congratulations France, well deserved. Love the
Croatian spirit though & their great team spirit,” 0liseh wrote on his Twitter handle on Sunday night.
Le blues won the title on home soil in 1998 which incidentally was when current France coach Didier Deschamps was captain.
A Mario Mandzukic’s own goal and three other strikes by Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe gave France victory
in the game.
