Olympic Eagles Beat Libya 4-2 on Aggregate
Advance for U-23 AFCON qualifiers
Nigeria’s under-23 team on Monday afternoon defeated Libya 4-0 in the return leg fixture of ongoing AFCON Olympic qualifier in Asaba.
It was Victor Osimhem’s hat-trick and a goal from substitute Okereke that secured victory for Olympic Eagles.
The Nigerian team have now advanced to the next stage of the qualification series on 4-2 aggregate.
In the first fixture, Libya beat Nigeria 2-0 in Tunisia.
