Olympics Eagles Captain Azubuike promises victory against Sudan

Nigeria’s U-23 National team Captain Azubuike Okechukwu has vowed to lead his team to victory away to Sudan on Thursday, September 5th, 2019 to make the return leg slated for Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba a mere formality.

Azubuike as he is fondly called also told SportingLife.ng that he would be arriving Abuja on Monday after playing for his Turkish club Basaksehir in a league match today.
“Playing against Sudan on their ground is not going to be easy at all. But I am confident of the quality of the players in this team and with hard work in training and on the field of play in both matches, I believe we will qualify.
“But we need to work hard and try to win the first leg in Sudan to make the return leg easy for us. So we are going for victory in Sudan but its not going to be easy. We need the support and prayers of Nigerians so that we can achieve victory over there”, the ambitious Olympic Eagles Skipper told SportingLife.ng from his base in Turkey.
The newly invited Boluspor FC of Turkey right back Sincere Seth also told SportingLife.ng that he would arrive Nigeria today after playing  a league match for his club.
“I hope to travel down to Nigeria on Sunday after our league match today (Saturday). I am also using this opportunity to thank Coach Imama (Amapakabo) for inviting me to this team. I promise to five my all to ensure we beat Sudan in Sudan and Asaba God willing”, Seth also told SportingLfe.ng from his base in Turkey.
