Onazi named in Turkish Super Liga Team of the Week

Nigeria midfielder, Eddy Ogenyi Onazi has been rewarded with a place in the Turkish Super Liga Team of the Week after a brilliant outing for Trabzonspor last Saturday.

Onazi who appears to have lost his position in the Super Eagles scored in the 89th minute for Trabzonspor in their 3-0 win against Konyaspor.

Onazi who posted a game rating of 8.2, showed no sign that he was returning from injury.

The 25-year-old has featured in all Trabzonspor matches this season, except the match against Kayserispor which he missed due to accumulated yellow cards.

Onazi has now scored two league goals in 14 matches, equaling the total he achieved last season.
