Onazi out of Libya clash after missing Eagles final training
Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has been ruled out of Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya after he missed the final training session held on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Onazi had to leave training midway after picking a knock.
His absence has opened the door for Stoke City forward Oghenekaro Etebo to start against Libya in the midfield along with Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi.
Onazi had taken part in all the training sessions had by the team since the camp opened.
