Onigbinde criticizes NFF amid CAF’s coaches certification

Adegboye Onigbinde has criticized the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) after coaches of some NPFL’s continental representatives failed to meet CAF’s latest requirements for coaching certification.

Speaking with Lagos-based Brila FM, the former FIFA and CAF Technical instructor noted that the NFF hasn’t conducted the required CAF coaching certification courses in the last three years, a situation that explains why coaches have suddenly found themselves in a tight corner.

“It was not the fault of the coaches, it was not the fault of the clubs. I don’t know whose fault it is that we are not training our coaches.

“For almost three years now if not more, we have not conducted any coaching course for coaches, let them tell you what is happening,” submitted Onigbinde, who also managed Nigeria at Korea/Japan World Cup.
