Onuachu disappointed as West Ham hammer Genk 3-0

Super Eagles and Genk forward Paul Onuachu shook his head in disappointment on Thursday after his side suffered a 3-0 defeat in the hands of West Ham in the Europa.

The Nigeria international who was in action for 73 minutes could be seen shaking his head as he was replaced by

Iké Dominique Ugbo with West Ham already three goals up and still firing.

The first half was pretty even but the Hammers took the lead just before the break. Craig Dawson got the goal as he found the net from Aaron Cresswell’s corner.

The result was put beyond doubt in the second half as West Ham scored twice in two minutes.

Issa Diop and Jarrod Bowen got the goals as David Moyes’ side picked up all three points against their Belgian opponents. West Ham now sit six points clear at the top of Group H in the Europa League.

Victory gives the Hammers the chance to qualify for the knock-out stages with victory in the return leg of this fixture in Belgium on November 4, where three points will be enough to send them through
