Super Eagles prospect, Peter Onyekachi has joined Hapoel Kfar Saba on a three-year deal the club have announced.
The former Enyimba forward was one of the shining lights for relegated Hapoel Acre last season, making 31 league appearances during a tough campaign.
However, he did enough to capture the attention of Kfar Saba and the Israeli football club snapped him up for the 2017/18 Liga Leumit season where he will be playing with another Nigerian, former U-20 star Peter Nworah.
‘I’m delighted to continue my journey at Hapoel Kfar Saba,’ he told SportingLife via a chat. ‘I will give my best and help to put smiles on the faces of the fans.
‘Luckily for me, I have my Nigerian brother Nworah in the team which will help me settle at the club.’
The club statement read: “Welcome Peter Onyekachi.”
Former Super Eagles striker, Yakubu Aiyegbeni played on loan for Hapoel Kfar Saba during the 1999–2000 from Maccabi Haifa before he transferred to Portsmouth in 2003.
