Onyekuru nets brace in Galatasaray victory, Kalu scores

Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru completed a perfect night for Turkish side, Galatasaray firing a brace in their 4-2 win against Sivaspor 4-2 in the Turkey Super Lig on Sunday.

 

Onyekuru who has been anonymous in front of goal struck in the 51st and 69th minutes after teammates Eren Derdyok and Sofian Feghouli had put the home side 2-2 at half time.

Sivaspor were the first to score through Brazilian international Robinho in the ninth minute.

After the match, Onyekuru was happy to end his goals drought which he expressed on Twitter.

“Nice to get a couple early presents before Christmas and the 3 points!MERRY CHRISTMAS,” posted the player.

In France, Samuel Kalu was on the scorer sheet for Bordeaux, but saw his goal cancelled by Eddy Gnahore for bottom placed Amiens in the 87th minute as both sides shared the three points on Sunday.

Kalu joined Bordeaux from the Belgium Jupiler league side KAA Gent last summer.

He made his competitive debut for the Super Eagles in an 2019 AFCON qualifier against Seychelles.
