Onyekuru out of Ukraine friendly over work permit issues

Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru has become the second Super Eagles player to withdraw from the international friendly against Ukraine over resident permit issues.

The Nigerian who joined French Ligue 1 side, Monaco this season is still processing his work permit.

He joins Kenneth Omeruo who pulled out last week for the same reason.

The winger has made three league appearances for Monaco following his transfer from Everton.

His absence may not be felt as head coach Gernot Rohr has already extended late call-ups to Anderson Esiti, Bryan Idowu, Josh Maja, and Emmanuel Dennis

Meanwhile, the Nigeria delegation for the friendly is expected to depart on September 6 billed for the Dnipro Arena next week Tuesday.
