Onyekuru scores as Galatasaray loses In Pre Season friendly

Nigeria attacker Henry Onyekuru was on the losing side with Galatasaray despite scoring as they fell 2-1 to Valencia in a Pre-season game played on Saturday at the Stade St. Léonard, Switzerland.

It was Valencia who took the lead through Vezo Ruben in the 35th minute with Toni Lato doubling the lead 16 minutes later.

However Onyekuru who came off the bench to replace Inan Selçuk a minute before the hour mark registered his first goal for the Turkish champions in the 59th minute.

Only last Wednesday Onyekuru made his first appearance for Galatasaray against Dutch club, PSV Eindhoven.

The Nigeria international who is in Turkey on loan from Everton was in action for the entire game.
