Orlando Pirates confirm signing of NPFL star from Akwa United
South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) giants Orlando Pirates has announced the signing of Nigerian international defender Olisa Ndah.
Ndah joins from newly crowned Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) champions Akwa United and he signed three years contract with the Club.
The 23-year-old defender signed the deal after undergoing a successful trial with the Mighty Buccaneers.
He was part of the Akwa United squad that lifted her maiden Nigerian Premier League title last season.
The towering central defender was widely regarded as one of the finest players in the NPFL and he has earned two caps for Nigeria.

Orlando Pirates also announced the signing of Kwame Peprah from King Faisal Football Club in Ghana.
Speaking about the signings, club administrator Floyd Mbele said: “We are proud to announce the signings of Olisa and Kwame. I would like to personally thank both Akwa United and King Faisal Football Club for the professional manner that they handled these transactions,” he said.
