Osayi-Samuel urges Fenerbahce to stay focused in title race with Galatasaray

Bright Osayi-Samuel has called on his Fenerbahce teammates to remain fully focused as the club continues its pursuit of the Turkish Super Lig title.

The Yellow Canaries sit three points behind table-toppers Galatasaray, who have 74 points from 29 matches and are aiming for their third consecutive league crown.

Jose Mourinho’s side secured a 3-1 victory over Sivasspor on Sunday, a result that helped them maintain pressure on their fierce rivals.

Speaking after the match, Osayi-Samuel emphasised the importance of winning all of Fenerbahce’s remaining seven fixtures.

“We need to focus on ourselves. We have seven important matches. I think we will be champions if we win all the matches,” the Nigeria international stated.

He described the win against Sivasspor as “a valuable three points to continue on our way steadily,” and stressed the significance of treating each remaining fixture as a final.

Fenerbahce will return to action on Sunday when they host Kayserispor at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.
