Osimhen scores goal number 11, Awoniyi on target

Former Nigeria junior internationals, Victor Osimhen and Taiwo Awoniyi,  have continued to prove their relevance for their respective clubs as they were both on target during Sunday’s league matches in Belgium.

While Osimhen scored from the penalty spot to earn Sporting Charleroi the three points against Royal Antwerp in the Belgium Pro Division League, Awoniyi got the equaliser for Royal Excel Mouscron in their 1-1 draw at home to St. Truiden. The game was Osimhen’s 24th of the season and his 11th league appearance for Charleroi.

10–man Charleroi won the match 2-1. In the case of Awoniyi who grabbed his seventh for Mouscron, he was on for seventy five minutes before replaced by Frantzdy Pierrot in a game that saw Mouscron play with nine men.
