Osimhen to start from Napoli bench against Verona

Victor Osimhen is back in full training with Napoli after recovering from both COVID-19 and a dislocated shoulder and he may be introduced from the bench against Verona on Sunday.

The striker has been out of action since dislocating his shoulder in November while on international duty for Nigeria.

He then contracted COVID while on vacation in his homeland during the Christmas break.

Osimhen was given the all-clear from the Coronavirus yesterday and today underwent tests on his shoulder with a specialist visit.

The results of all these were clear, so Osimhen returned to training with the full squad.
