Super Eagles’ striker, Victor Osimhen has emerged the best player for Belgian side, Sporting Charleroi for the 2018/2019 season.
The Nigerian was handed the award after Charleroi’s 2-0 victory against Eupen, a former club of another Nigerian, Henry Onyekuru at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi on Saturday (yesterday).
Winning the award should not come as a surprise to the former youth international who has been in superb form for the Belgian side that he is on loan from German side, Wolfsburg.
This season he has scored 17 times with the last against KFCO Beerschot-Wilrijk at the Olympisch Stadium last weekend.
He posted his award on his Twitter handle with an Amen sign to show his gratitude to the Almighty God.

Osimhen will be expected in the Eagles camp on June 2 to regroup for preparations ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt in June.
