Ozil joins billionaire ex-teammate on ‘green’ project.
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has teamed up with ex teammate and close friend Mathieu Flamini for a ‘very special’ project set to be unveiled next month.
Flamini wrote on his instagram page: ‘Working hard with Mesut towards a healthier and more sustainable future for us all. Almost time to unveil it! 06/11/18.’
Flamini, currently with Getafe, co-founded a company called GF Biochemicals (GFB) which produces a chemical called levulinic acid.
The acid, created from grass, can be used as a substitute for oil and the US Department of Energy identifies it as one of the 12 key molecules that could help unlock a ‘greener’ world.
