Pep Guardiola trolled for kissing UCL runners-up medal
Pep Guardiola has been ruthlessly mocked by rival fans for kissing his Champions League runners-up medal following Manchester City’s crushing defeat to Chelsea.
Man City came up short in their bid to become European champions as Chelsea won 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Kai Havertz.
Guardiola was trolled online for his team selection with fans online slamming his decision to start without Rodri or Fernandinho.
And they continued to poke fun at him for his actions during the Champions League final ceremony.
The Spaniard led his players to collect their runners-up medal from UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin.
Once Ceferin draped the medal around his neck, Guardiola took supporters by surprise when he kissed it.

Guardiola sprung a surprise with his starting XI which ultimately backfired as Thomas Tuchel once again got the better of him this season.
And speaking after the match, he explained his decision to leave out the pair of defensive midfielders.
“I decided the decision, to have quality players,” he said. “Gundogan played many years in this position.
“To have speed, to find the small players, the quality, the brilliant players, inside, in the middle and between the lines. This was the decision.”
